How to add 2nd hard drive XP to a PC with Win7

can`t see some of the data or files in some of the folders from 2nd hard drive(XP,Sata) ,the drive was used as storage drive on an old XP PC & when I built New PC & have Win7 Pro as it`s operating sys. All I was trying to do was add this drive to the new PC &have all our Pic`s ,music & important Data on the new PC.Still being used as storage drive except it is in newPC. Have done all permission & Management stuff but some folders on drive are saying there is no data within the folders?does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?

did you use any type of encryption on the old PC?

Try running checkdisk
