CAN i fdisk my 1 5 seagate external hard drive

Hello, I don't like all the ads that come along with this Seagate FreeAgent 1.5 TB External Hard Drive USB 2.0. Will I have any problems fdisking the whole drive in NTFS?

You will be fine formatting your external drive. In reading the manual, it talks about formatting the drive, in case you forget your password. So if you can format it for that, you can format it for "standard" use.
