i plug in my blacberry curve to my dell laptop. the lil icon shows saying its installing and it taks forever and eventually wont work. what can i do to make it work

You've tried disconnecting then reconnecting the device right? Also, have you tried installing the software that came with the blackberry before you plugged it in?
