Large number of posts with return Email address

I've noticed a lot of poorly worded, extremely vague posts with return Email addresses these days.

Since so many of us are such friendly and helpful folks, we tend to reply to vague posts with requests for more clarification so that we can help the inquirer. BUT - is it [strike]possible[/strike] (well, almost anything is possible) plausible or likely that these are trolls for valid Email addresses? Or have I just spent too much time on the Security forums?

The inquiry-with-email-address pattern seems to me to be something fairly recent.

Edit - yes, this goes under Storage, because this is the area in which I've noticed these.

I've seen them, too. You may be correct. I was thinking the posts were from people using translators to English that did not work very well, coupled with their thinking that we would reply to their email addresses. I figured they were generally newbies because posting their own email addresses subjects them to trolls and bots.
