Graphics card suitable for crosshair motherboard

hi,

I have a cross hair motherboard system(around 2 years old). I have nvidia 8500GT graphics card installed can i install any higher quality graphics card. If i can please tell me all the graphics card that is suitable for my crosshair motherboard starting from above 8500GT to graphics card worth 10000/-.
Please tell me i am a game freak that's why. thankyou.

OK then since you have a 19" monitor i think your resolution is either 1280x1024 or 1440x900 and for those i recommend you to take a look at ATI HD 5770
