Hitachi Sata Hdd not loading operating system

I am unable to set up operating system on my hittachi HDD it is showing different errors while the setup process.

  1. What Operating system are you trying to install? What motherboard do you have? In the BIOS, what are your drive setup as is it native IDE or AHCI? If you are installing Windows XP you have to press F6 in the install process and use a floppy drive to install the SATA drivers if you set AHCI in your BIOS. Windows 7 allows you to use a flash drive to install the SATA drivers.

    Windows 7 has native AHCI drivers, so there is no need to install additional AHCI drivers.

    @OP: Are these legal copies of your OS? You didn't state your OS, but win7 can be fussy about RAM. You might want to try installing with just one stick of ram installed and add the rest in later.
  3. You may want to run Hitachi's diagnostic software on the drive to make sure it's functioning properly...
