I have just finished building my first pc and have got as far as installing the OS. I am using Windows XP Home Edition.
I format my hard-drive and it installs the XP files on it. After that is says for the next stage of the installation the computer will reboot, please remove anything from floppy drive A. I do not have a floppy drive so I let it reboot. After it reboots I get the usual beep, motherboard splashscreen, but I'm back to square one of installing XP again. My boot priority is set to CD drive then Hard-drive. I am a bit stuck on what to do so I will be grateful for any advice.
