I lost all my documents when i changed administrator account in win xp

Hello,
I just read a forum from 2010 about restoring the documents foldewr after changing the admininstrator account, but i am still having trouble. I found the adminstrator file in windows explorer under c:,documents and settings but i can't open it. it says access is denied. when i was trying to set up another user account but somehow it changed it to the new adimistrator account and the old administrator account is no where to be found

You will have to take ownership of the folder.
