My hdd makes scratching

my hdd is making scratching sounds for few mounts now they are very loud louder then cooling fans sometimes
when hdd is not used much it is quiet bat on boot and during loading games ,installing aps,copy past,defragmenting.. it is loud as hell i tested it with dlgdiag it didn't have any bed sectors
model is WDC WD3200AAKS-00YGA0
size 320gb
it is litle more then 2 years old
i dont have any other broblems with it
os is windows 7 64
is it going to crash can i do something to stop scratching and what is scratching and why

That kind of noise usually indicates the HDD is failing. Get another HDD and clone the scratching one to it before catastrophic failure. You can keep the scratchy one for storing stuff you don't really care about until it fails, then use the WDC website to RMA and get a replacement - your scratchy HDD should have a 3-year warranty from your date of purchase - you will have to pay for shipping to WDC.
