Hi
I recently built a sandybridge computer however now that there is this problem that the sata 2 ports will degrade over time i wanted to plug my ssd into one of the sata 3 ports to avoid damaging my motherboard. The problem is, the operating system won't boot when the ssd is in the sata 3 port.
I am using a gigabyte ga-p67a-ud4 motherboard
My ssd is the intel x25-m 80gb.
Finally, when i go into the boot priority when the ssd is in the sata 3 port, it doesn't come up however when the system is posting it recognizes the ssd.
Could anyone help?
Thanks in advance.
