I was looking at getting Dish network with their new offer
for $20 for 60 channels and some South Asian channels. Dish
Network told me that I owuld need to get a second dish for
$100 if I want to get both. After some search, I came across
sundish.com and they are offering a Superdish for free which can
do the job of both dishes. I called Dish Network again and they
don't seem to offer similar deal. What is the catch?
Has anyone done business with Sundish?

About 4 years ago Dishnet upgraded their satellite and the dishes that all
their customers had would not pick up all the channels. If you were Dishnet
customer they would send you a free "super dish" that was good for all
channels.

Not familiar with sundish.com. Are they a dealer for Dishnet? If so, then
the catch is probably a 2 year subscription to Dishnet programming.

If your buying a new Dishnet system and it doesn't come with a dish, then
you should look elsewhere. All reputable dealers provide dishes with new
systems.

If you bought your current system from a third party and you have the old
dish, then you got screwed. If this is the case you should search ebay for a
good deal on a super dish.
