So I have 4 gigs of gskill RAM that are supposed to run at 1066mhz. In BIOS however, they are listed as 800mhz, I set them to 1066mhz already so no biggy, but I'd like to know why they are listed as 800mhz. I have an Asus P5Q pro motherboard and I know it supports 1066mhz memory, a Q6600 cpu, and I'm running windows 7 ultimate 64bit. Help please?

Here's the exact motherboard I bought from newegg If you guys want exact specs of it:

The memory you purchased like most others has several different profiles stored in the SPD area of the chip. The top speed is considered an enhanced/extreme mode which requires additional information beyond standard to be set.
Since motherboards are shipped to many different users something has to be set in order to start up, so a safe speed with standard timings and voltage are used.
