Temperature question - first overclocking project

Hello.

I just started my first over clocking project, using an AMD Phenom x4 965 3.4GHz black edition CPU, 4GB DDR3 corsair memory and a V6 GT coolermaster cooling kit.

I raised the multiplier to x20 @ 4.01GHz, ran small fft's test and large fft's test on prime95 with the air conditioning turned off (I live in Dubai so it's very hot) and it passed for 3 hours each and it passed. However, I am concerned about the CPU's temperature.

While performing the small fft's test the temperature would fluctuate between 53.5 and 54.5 degrees C, sometimes jumping to 55 and then quickly coming down.

Strangely, during the large fft's test it never went past 50.1 degrees, and was mostly fluctuating between 49 and 49.5 degrees C.

Is the temperature too high? Should I bring the multiplier down? What's the ideal temperature it should be running at?

Cheers :)
