That setup is fairly weak for gaming. Intel p4 is a very old cpu and the 9600gso isnt that strong plus limited to 384mb. You also need more then 1 gig of ram. I would suggest you get a new pc all together, costing around 600$ for a decent build$. If you cant i suggest you upgrade the memory from 1gig to 2-3gig in addition to overclocking the cpu and gpu.

I have got a 9600 GSo 512 and it rocks my 19" screen at 1440x900 resolution.See my configuration dude. You need a min. of 2 Gig for Xp and a 2.6 GHz dual core or a 2.2 GHZ quad core for good gaming.
I pieced my rig up piece by piece, You could probably go about doing the same. took me about 3 months, depending on your budget you could hold 100-200 a paycheck and have it built in just a short time.
