Hi
Recently, I bought a Dell computer with Windows 7. I can access the internet fine if I go through the modem, but when I go through the router, Windows 7 recognizes the router, but there is no internet access. I have misplace the router's installation disc, so I don't know what to do. The router worked fine on my old system (HP computer with Windows XP)

Here's the info:
ISP: Comcast
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Computer: Dell XPS8500
Router: D-Link WBR-1310
Modem: Motorola SB6121

I have a laptop, iPhone and an iPad all depnding on this router, so I have GOT to get it up and running. Any ideas would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,
Steve

turn off modem and router

turn on modem and wait until it has finished booting (about 2 min)

turn on router

wait 2 min and test.

if you still have a problem, connect computer to router via network cable and browse to 192.168.0.1 to log into the router
