PARTS PREFERENCES: No Preference at all, also wondering if downgrading technology from i7 to lets say Quad core a worth while idea, I'm not that well knowledge in the exact specifics of performance but have some knowledge.
OVERCLOCKING: Maybe, probably not.
SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Yes Either one.
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Must have extra Ram Slots/PCI-X slots for at least some growth in the future for another GPU and more RAM in next 3-4 years.
This is my first custom PC ever, all my friends are constantly buying xbox 360 and ps3 games/controllers and it comes out to about over $40-100 a month on games and hardware failure and all the systems can really be used for is gaming. So i've decided to build my own PC and i've been surfing this site and newegg constantly for the last 3 days learning insanely about the new processors and video cars.
p.s.: Now I feel ripped off for buying a eVGA 7600GT AGP for $129.99 at Futureshop.
