My computer configuretion is
1.Intel Pentium D 925(3.00GHz 4MB L2 Cache)
2.Asus P5K-VM(G33/ICH9 Chipset)
3.RAM 2GB 800Mhz
4.XFX GTS 250
5.Coolermaster ExtremPower Plus 600Watts
I played crysis in 4X AA ,Graphics Details:High. I got 29.9 avg fps. I want to increase my computer performance. If i change my processor with C2D e8400 or e6850, can i get better performance. My budget is about 160~170usd.

Yes, the cpu is bottlenecking your GPU, but those to C2D's should help alot.
yes i agree with yannifb.
Go with a q8400 from newegg they are about the same price as a e8400 but its a 2.66 GHZ quad core!!!
Noooo! Don't go with the Q8400 over the E8400, the E8400 is clocked higher and has more cache per core, thus making it superior in gaming, yes I know Crysis can, in theory, use 4 threads but the clockspeed and cache outweigh that.

If I am not mistaken, Crysis is one of the most graphics hungry games, particularly at high resolutions.
You might do well to sell the GTS250, getting perhaps $100 for it, and replacing it with a GTX275.
