hi i am about 2 buy my first motherboard for my i7 build and need help on choosing which one i have thought about the asus p6t deluxe v2 or the asus rampage 2. which 1 is better , thanks guys

The Rampage is more for extreme overclocking and three way sli, if you don't really want those, then get the v2.

What defines "better" is if the motherboard will do all that you plan to do with it. I can have a "better" motherboard that has the finest audio, 12 SATA, 3X 1394 connections, and can hit the 2200 Mhz FSB, but if I'm not using its features...

overall the p6t is a better board but for real if you arent going to use all or most of its features it dosent make sense buying it.
