I'm running XP with a NVIDIA graphics card. last night I was cleaning up my startup items (ccleaner) and I deleted the NVIDIA startup items (shouldn't have)...when I re-booted the machine the display is dead (laptop and external monitor), no flicker or anything.....it doesn't even show the pre-boot Dell setup screen.

Is it likely that my cleaning up of the startup items caused this?

Any ideas on how to reinstall/recover on a machine with no display?

Any help is appreciated.

Register or log in to remove.

Try inserting a Windows CD and boot from it and try a Windows repair.

If you still can't get anything, clear the bios.
Do you have onboard video?
Try building outside the case and looking for beeps.
Please specify your hardware specs.
