I have a very worthy 1GB 4870 and it plays all my games fine max settings 1920 x 1200. I'm wondering since the price drop on all the 4000 series cards that the 5000 series may be coming later this summer? I read a few places as early as end of July wonder if this is true. If so it will be nice to upgrade to a possible 1Gb 5870 or whatever it will be called and get a head start on Dir X11, even though games wont support it till later on. Wonder if Modern Warfare 2 in November will have Dir X11 support since Win 7 will be out for a month then when it releases, nice thought. Thanks for any input.
