When I compose email letters, the keys that I type will pop up in other parts of the sentence rather than in the order that I'm typing them. It didn't seem to happen with Word, but it's happening again as I'm typing this now. Does anyone know why this would happen?

Never heard of this before - have you tried a different keyboard to see if its the actual keyboard playing up ?

I'm not having the problem now, but I did try another keyboard, and it's worked fine with it. The computer I'm using is a laptop, so maybe the problem is with my computer, although it seems to be okay now. The problem started last night, and continued today even after shutting down last night. Very strange!

Try pressing Insert, but indeed that is very weird.
Also try pressing the Fn key

Quit leaning on the arrow keys, or shake the cheeto crumbs out from under them.
