Hi,

I have recently gotten a cam which shoots in HD. Yee haa. =However my PC is dramatically underspecced to handle laying HD and editing it. I intend to upgrade to an i7 and wondered what graphics card would be best suited to use with it? How much power from the GPU do I need for viewing HD and editing it or is it all down to the CPU and memory. I don’t intend to game so don’t want to spend loads on a card which will not be needed?

Any help appreciated

Cheers

Get the ATI HD 4550...It can easily handle your requirement and is best suited for your needs...

That card is plenty for your replay needs, but AFAIK the editing side is taken card of by the CPU/RAM so you might want to increase the system memory.
