I just ordered a comp
Intel(R) Core™ i5-760 2.80 GHz
30 GB Kingston 2.5 inch SATA Gaming MLC Solid State Disk
4GB (2GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz
EVGA P55 TR Intel P55V
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480 1.5GB
used mainly for gaming. I do not want to spend more than $150 on a hd, so should I buy an ocv vertex 2 60gb and put the os on the 30gb with games on the 60gb or vice versa? Or, should I use my old 500 gb for my games and the new 30 gb ssd for os or vi ce versa? Just need some suggestions here. Thanks

I would use your 30GB for OS & a few programs (try & keep 10% [3GB] free for TRIM) and your old 500GB for everything else including games. You will see little benefit in gaming with a SSD outside of load times.
Your other option would be return the 30GB, & get the 64GB and utilize it for a few games and your hard drive for everything else... If returning is an option![:)]( ":)")
