This is the basic setup I'm looking at right now. Looking to make sure its a good proper setup that can do everything i need it to, and hopefully last me a while too! Any advice to make it cheaper or better, in addition anything I might be missing. Any advice would be great, Thanks!

There's nothing wrong with your build, although an i7 system would likely be more upgradeable for the future.

I looked into the i7 and it was a couple of hundred bucks more, In addition would i need extra cooling?

I'm not sure if your programs support that many threads, but if they do, the i7 would definitely be the way to go. For many applications, especially video editing, the i7 stomps all over the competition.

Indeed. But it will be significantly more expensive.
