Internet Connection sharing connecting to Wired and Wireless

Forum Wireless Networking : Setup, Configuration & Security Internet Connection sharing connecting to Wired and Wireless

Here is the problem I am having. I have two computers currently set up using Windows ICS. In the computer connected directly to the internet I have two wired NIC cards connected. Now I am trying to share the connection wirelessly. I connected a PCI wireless NIC card to the host computer as well. It is correctly installed. However, I cannot get the connection to share itself with the wireless NIC.

Am I doing something wrong or is this even possible. I am somewhat avoiding a router because the laptop I want to connect wirelessly is rarely at my parents where I am attempting to figure this out and set up the ICS.

So here is a breakdown.
Host computer has one NIC directly connected to cable modem. One NIC connected directly to separate desktop(ICS working). And it has one wireless NIC that is installed properly but will not broadcast signal wirelessly to laptop. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Why don't you just get a wireless router? It's a lot easier then setting up ICS.
