I and my mates have an argument on the performance of VGA card on MoBo with and without VGA onboard.

Assuming that there are 2 identical MoBo and the only difference is one has integrated VGA and the other has not. Both MoBo use the same external VGA card. The question here is: Is there any difference on the performance of the external VGA card between the two MoBo? (Assuming mobo with integrated vga card disabled the onboard vga while using external one)

Thank you for any comments that can solve our arguments >.<

In my humble opinion there is no different, because you will turn off the onboard vga when you use external one and it not eat your system rams.

Actually, most motherboards with integrated video will automatically detect the presence of a video and deactivate the onboard video.
