Hey guys. I'm looking into purchasing a monitor for my new setup. My plan is to connect the display via HDMI to my laptop, which will be docked. I'd love to get a 1080p 32" LCD, but I'm worried that eye / neck strain will be an issue. I'll be using this monitor as a desk setup sitting ~3.5ft from where the monitor will be. Does anyone have experience with this sort of setup (or even with a 32)? Here is what I'm looking at currently, although I'm open to suggestions as long as the display is 32", 1080p and has PIP. What do y'all think, should I just go for a nice 24"? Thanks in advance!

3.5 ft is fairly close, if you are like 7 feet then it's be ok.

7ft is a bit extreme for computing at 1080p. I have mine at ~5ft, but I think thats just a touch too far. Somewhere arround 4-4.5 ft would probably be ideal.

3.5 to 4 feet you should be good. The only thing I'd be worried about is that TVs tend to be much brighter then computer LCD mybe too bright. but i'm sure you can fix that easy.
