I want to upgrade from my current PC :

1) AMD 64 x2 +4.2.
2) 2Gb of ram (not sure what kind of)
3) PSU 600w
4) ugly case
5) Nvidia 7800 GS
6) some EDIE drive and
7) M-AUDIO DELTA 66 audio interface

I do play EVE Online and Age of Conan.

should I go with AMD or Intel? We main things I need = stability / no audio lag.

I am no expert, so I could be wrong.
I would save some money on the HD and spend it on the graphic card. (2x4850/4770 crossfire)
