2ND drive issues

I recently built a computer for the first time and im having trouble running games off of my second hard drive. About 50% of the games i install on it after restarting the computer a time or two it tells me its missing a file and i need to reinstall it. Is there any particular way i need to set up my second hard drive, or is it just the games interaction with windows 7. Any game i install on my primary works like a champ.. but its only 64 gigs.

Quick - run diagnostics on the drive. There are no known issues where Windows will run applications on one disk but not on another, but disk failures are not uncommon. Do you also have data on this drive? Have you had any problems accessing that data from a program that lives on the SSD?

Similarly, try (after turning off the power) re-seating all of the cables.
