I have just receive my new and boxed NVIDIA Geforce 8800GTS Card today and i have baught this to Sli it with my currant 8800GTS.
The problem is that i have put it in PCI E slot 1 and my older 8800GTS in slot 2.
My PC can see my old card in slot 1 but does not see my new graphics card ! Both cards have the exact same specs and are sli compatiable. I have to plug my DVI cable into my old card to get a picture on my screene. I downloaded the lastest drivers from windows 7 64bit as this is they OS for "higher FPS" on high proformance games. My Rig is as followed:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory: 4094MB RAM 1066HRTZ
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512 (x 2 now)
Operating System: Windows 7 64Bit CR
Motherboard: Asus Striker II Formula (3 way sli compatiable)
Computer Case: Antec Gaming Case (with extra fans)
PSU: Corsair 620

If anyone can help me il be more than greatfull.
I can communicate by any methods thank you

P.S. The cards are connected by the Sli Bridge also

Did you check in BIOS configuration to see if there is an option there to enable SLI?

Put them in the blue slots (1 and 3). I think that is the soloution.

What is your old video card? coozie7 was instructing you to put both 8800's in slot 1 and 3. There should not be one in slot #2.

You realise this is the forum where people have come complaining that their PCIx card didn't work in the pci slot after they "cut off the extra pins to make it fit" right? lol
