Hmm, as far as i know xp only recognises 2 monitors.

a way around this is to get an adapter like this: http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/products/gxm/dh2go/
which essentialy makes xp recognise it as one really wide screen monitor which the adapter splits amongst the 2 monitors.

you can also get a three way adapter if you have anough monitors.

I think you haven't done your research on FSX.

1) FSX loves quad cores, especially i7's.

2) FSX prefers a single 8800GTX or 9800GTX or GTS 250 to multiple cards which are better in other games.

3) not an FSX point but that PSU isn't going to power those two GTX 260's for very long.

Problem now im facing is when i on the Cockpit view, i can see the scenery but the 2D panel gone....all blank(black)!!!! I can fly but the mouse arrow cursor and hour glass icon are blanking very fast.....is my set up wrong? I do reinstall my FSX back but its still the same. I need the 2D panel. Can someone help now.....spent a lot of money on the FSX.....Headache!

Thanks in advance!

I got a four monitor setup for FSX possibly going to six today. You do know that when in SLI mode, you can only have monitors working on your primary graphics card right? U shouldve kept the 260's. I'm running with 2 Radeon 4650's. Your problem is NOW in the drivers. I'm guessing ure using vista 64... Download windows 7 64 bit RC ASAP and you wont have this issue. keep in touch with me

Also, do a fresh install and don't install Accelration. That causes alot of problems. Also, why do you insist on Nvidia. ATI's left them bleeding I thought. I was an Nvidia fan too. Remember that FSX is CPU intensive and not GPU intensive. SO you only need a halfway decent card. Also there will not be another Microsoft Flight Simulator since they shut ACES down. The nearest competitor, X-Plane 9.0 doesn't even touch flight sim 2004 yet. So once you get this setup right you'll be good for a while.

HI Guys!

Try this.....its really works!

"It seems that the resolution set in Nvidia/Matrox and FSX would only take 3460 x 1050. No larger or my 2D cockpit would vanish and the cursor would flicker and the menu words would just be all lines. So I went back to the older drivers and resolutions and all is fine (albeit not the hi-definition widescreen promised by Matrox and Nvidia)."

Good luck!!!!
