Processor replacement

Hi, I have an HP Media Centre as listed

Manufacturer: Asus
Motherboard Name: P5LP-LE
HP/Compaq motherboard name: Emery-UL8E
PentiumD 820 (S) DC 2.8 GHz

And I want an opinon on replacing the processor with a

Intel® Pentium® D Processor 920 (4M Cache, 2.80 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)

just so I can use the Intel® Virtualization Technology for Windows 7.

Any ideas? Thanks.

It's fully supported by the motherboard.

Great news, Thank you. I have been poking around the internet but I have not been able to find that data.

Would that just be a easy swap in/out or will I need to update the BIOS?

Should be just a swap in.

HP's web page for that motherboard shows the Pentium D 9xx series as being supported right out of the box.
