There isn't one.

Additionally, you might want to do your own research before you let random internet folk dictate how you spend that much money....

Random internet folks such as myself are happy to dictate how people should spend their money for graphics cards.

The topic creator needs two GTX295s for rudimentary SLi (get four of them for good quad SLi),
and needs two 4870x2s for basic Crossfire (again, get four of them for good quad Xfire).

He shouldn't get anything less than the GTX295 or 4870x2 or he won't even be able to play old games such as Crysis on low resolutions such as 2560x1600.

Mr.Bsod is indeed correct....you must increase your budget if you expect to SLI or Xfire....you sir would have to be a complete moron to not buy and be running the above cards :non:

i fully concur with Misters BSOD and rewindlabs...

gaming requires those solutions, at the very least.

I guess it all depends on what motherboard you have and what it supports.different games prefer nvidia and other prefer ati. It all depends on what you play. The idea of the 2 are pretty similar. Take 2+ cards to increase the frame rates of said game. Don't listen to the above posters and do some searches for what suits your needs best.

btu remember ps-jl, just cause a game prefers nvidia or ati, doesnt mean it will run poorly. depends on the resolution and settings ure playing at, and also to a certain extent the monitor ure using.
