I have an older motherboard (8x AGP slot) with 2 ghz amd processor, 2 gb of 533mzh ddr ram and more storage then i know what to do with. I just started downloading 1080p movies and they look AMAZING! Only problem is I have a slow ass NVida 5200fx 128mb card. I can only render stills of 1080P, haha. My question is, I have a 50" plasma, and I would like to output this video to it, via either vga connection, hdmi, or component. I would prefer vga as I already have a 50ft cable for it and I would run my regular monitor off the DVI port cable. Any suggestions for the CHEAPEST card?

Sadly newegg stock of agp cards is getting smaller and smaller each day. You can try ebay but all those cards are overpriced as new and risky to buy as used.

a passive cooled 3650 should do the trick and stay silent, such as

you can get the 3450 and save some cash but it will be a little louder

yeah most 2/3/4000 series cards you find at NewEgg should do the trick. Do you game at all? if you don't it shouldn't matter which one you get but if you do game, you'll need to look for some other features
