Hello,
I am trying to transfer my pictures from my lap top to my 8GB USBkeymax & when I do it tells me it cannot create or replace the folder my pictures are in . it says the disk is write-protected, how do I release this so I can carry on transferring my pictures across .?

2 things come to mind. Is the device full? Second, right-click on the folder in question and choose "properties". Do you see the "read only" checkbox checked or gray checked? If so, remove the check.

Edit: a third thing that came to mind - is there a lock switch on your USB device? If so, make sure it's not in the "lock" position.
