Hi!
I have Windows XP Pro in domain. I'd like to search for audio and music, but
my search behaviour is not in advanced mode. And there's no "Change
preferences" menu in Start->Search or in Search panel of explorer. How to
change the mode of search behavoir? Or how to return "Change preferences" in
Start->Search?

Ask your domain admins if they have customized the Group policy. This
setting is in
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CabinetState, REG_SZ
value 'Use Search Asst', the data 'yes' or 'no'.

Recreate your profile if any other account is okay.

I've seen the mixed networks where the users had one roaming profile for any
OS. No wonder the users complained permanently and IT dep't was busy.
