Looks good. You prolly could knock off about 30$ and just get 4gb of ram, u won't need 6 (u wouldn't notice any performance increase really). Also, the x4 940 is an am2+ socket, your upgrade path on a processor won't necessarily be future-proof with am3 sockets out.

yea imma do what u said just have 4gb ram and for the am2 im looking for a motherboard that has am2+ and am3 dont know wich one though

Nice build... except your CPU will not fit on your MOBO.

The Phenom II X4 940 is a AM2+ socket and your MOBO is a AM3 socket only. My suggestion would be to switch out the Phenom II X4 940 with AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor Model HDZ955FBGIBOX - Retail ($245.00) or switch your MOBO to GIGABYTE GA-MA790X-UD4P AM3/AM2+/AM2 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail ($109.99)

Another cost savings method is to download Windows 7 Release Candidate, which is free until March 2010, than it'll shut your computer down every 2 hours until June 2010, than you have to purchase a key. It is a way to save money now until the official version is released in Oct. or wait for March 2010.
