I am having a problem with my monitor staying in standby mode whever I have to reboot. It seems to only come on if I wait a while to boot and can hear the fan spin up, then I know it will come on. I have disabled the standby options in power management, tried another monitor/cable, and a clean install of the drivers, and checked to make sure the card is seated into the motherboard. I have also updated the firmware via asus update utility and tried clearing the cmos by removing the battery and changing jumpers back and forth.
I am suspecting a posting problem with the memory? Is there a process of elimination i can try to check each stick or any other ideas to consider?
