Trouble shooting

my sytem is not booting and it hangs at "JMicron Technology Corp. PCIE-to-SATAII/IDE RAID Controller BIOS v1.06.69 detecting drive please wait.. not able to enter Bios set up . Please help

Is this an external card or built into a motherboard?

Anyway, disconnect all the drives, then clear the BIOS. You do not need drives connected to complete the POST or enter the BIOS. If you can now enter the BIOS, your problem is with the RAID setup.

This an on board Raid, MB is Asus P5k Premium WiFi-AP. I had followed all the steps including clear the RTC. Any other solution . Is there any other way than clear the RTC to clear Bios. Please help

Did you remove the battery on the motherboard? yes or no, wait 30 minutes
Also remove any cards so as to not trap any current between device and on line diodes.

I do removed the battery, but not for 30 minutes. After that I could able to access bios disabled on board Raid. After that when I boot on bios screen it is showing as CPU fan error, Chasis intrution and system halted.

clear cmos.disconnect all drives n check out bcoz dis prblm is ur drives may be.

This got corrected finally by the service centre as it was a mother boad chip problem
