HP and a New Graphics Card

I just purchased a Sparkle Nvidia Card 9800, and I'm trying to install it to the HP computer I have. The main problem, however, is that I don't know how the power connectors should be attached. It has two, a red and a black, and I attached it to the graphics card correctly on one end, but the black end is confusing me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

The cable is a S/PDIF cable.
It should be connected to the motherboard or sound card.
It may not be necessary to use the cable at all for your computer.
