I acquired an S-Flex fan from a buddy (for free :) ) and want to add it to my Mugen to create a push-pull configuration. I've seen a couple of reviews that showed a significant improvement in cooling (5-7C), which allows lower fan speeds.

My question is this: what do I plug the second fan into? I have the stock fan plugged into the CPU fan connection on the P8P67 Pro motherboard. Where do I plug in the second fan? How do I keep the two fans in synch?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
The S-flex fan isn't pwm controlled like the stock fan.
You would have to plug the S-Flex into a Chassis fan header on your mobo.
Hopefully the S-Flex is an E or F model at the most which would better match the stock fans rpms.
I don't think you'll be able to keep them in perfect sync .
It's not a big deal though and they'll run fine..
Use the S-Flex on the opposite side of the current fan.
