Ok first off this is a new build (i made a post I guess in the wrong forum before and it was deleted). I am upgrading from a DELL XPS 720 with Q6600.

I have bought most of my parts alread:
ANTEC 902 case (not v3)
2x4 Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600
Asus P8P67- EVO
i7 -2600k
Kingwin Lazer Gold 850W PSU
WD Caviar Black 500 6 gb/s 7200 RPM (2)
Two ASUS DVD/RW Drives

Graphics card will probably be a GTX 570. Or possible a GTX 580 is price drops.

Need to order this heatsink within 24-48 hours so any help is appreciated.

Hardest thing to decide on is the Heatsink for the CPU. Going to be doing some mild OC'ing with it. Have read forums , googled various heatsinks and cant decide.

Bottom line is I need a good heat sink that will fit in an ANTEC 902 with Corsair Vengeance RAM that is relatively easy to install as this is my first build and dont want to mess anything up. I can go up to 80-100 for the heatsink. Have considered CM 212+ but hear it is hard to install and not very secure. Looking at Venomous X RT, Corsair A50, Thermaltake Archon etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Priorities are fit in case, easy install and works with ram (although I wont be using all the slots) only 2x4 (8 gigs)

If you don't plan on ever using more the 2 dimms just about any air cooler will work.
I have no idea where you gathered info about the 212+.
Since it has to be one of the easiest cooler i've ever installed.
Personally i would never buy an $80+ cooler for a SB cpu since they were designed for i7 9xx series/AMDX4/6 cpu's which have a higher TDP.
I think a Venomous X would be more then sufficient.
212+ being the most cost effective choice.
Scythe Mugen 2 is better the 212+ but can be challenging to install.

Im probably only going to use 2 dims for memory. Most of the hard install reviews I saw were on newegg from people who purchased it, (the 212+) that is. Saying it was a pain to install.

Zalman CNPS9900MAX This is on sale for 65 USD? Would this be a decent one?

your "mild OC'ing" means that you can save some money get something more like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Air-Performance-Cooler-CAFA50/dp/B003IT6RDE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1304489286&sr=8-1
or

If you're doing heavy overvolting, maybe you should invest a bit more. However, you could probably get by on either one of those 2 even with a heavy OC, or an Xigmatek Gaia or something else in that range.
