Dvd drive

Hey,
My dvd drive has recently stopped working. It used to play certain dvds than all of a suden it won't play any dvds. Nothing new has been installed. What I have done thus far is uninstall and reinstall the dvd rom drive, ive also removed upper and lower filters. It shows that the dvd rom drive is there but it will not read my dvds, yet it reads audio cds fine... ou guys think my dvd read header is deader? )=

You may want to try cleaning the lens - there are lens cleaner discs to do that. If that doesn't/didn't work, you may need to replace the drive.
