Hi
I do not have a clue about computer hardware or software but getting classes at it currently.
I look at charts constantly in relation to my work so what size graphics card is best suited for this, also does the type of monitor used have much of an influence on this?

Grateful for any thoughts

For $20-30 a simple ATI 3450 or 4350 (same card just re-badged) will work

the question is your motherboard slot. Do you have an AGP, PCI-E, PCI, etc.,?

What kind of computer do you have?

if your computer can display anything it can display charts... no card is needed.
if they are large charts and you want them crystal clear then yeah, look for a good and large monitor capable of high resolution.
