Hello,
I have two Vista computers set up on a wireless network. I want to share files inbetween the two computers, but the transfer rate between the computers is awfully slow. Would a crossover cable be beneficial to me, and how would I indicate to the network that I want to transfer using the crossover connection and NOT the wireless connection? Thanks!

crossover might be faster but you have to assign static IPs to the LAN cards. Do not assign a gateway or DNS

usually the LAN connection supersedes the Wifi
