Hi all - this is my first post, so please go easy on me.

I have a somewhat older PC (it still has some juice :) ) that I am trying to get set up as a 3 monitor setup with my sony 42" LCD TV (for games).

here are the specs:

Core2 Duo 6600 OC'd to 3.29 Ghz
Gigabyte GA-765P DS3 MB
4GB Ram
Geforce 8800 GTS 640 - PCI Express main
GeForce 8400 PCI card for 3rd monitor
Vista Ultimate x64
Latest NVidia Drivers

Basically, what I am trying to do is hook up my TV and 1st Monitor to the 8800 and clone them using the NVidia control panel, and hook up the 3rd monitor to the 8400.

This works all well and good, except that when the TV is turned off and the computer reboots, the PC does not recognize that it exists anymore. To further complicate things, my settings for "resize HDTV desktop" within the NVidia control panel carry over to the monitor on the 8400, which causes the image to be shrunk on the second monitor.

From this point, I have to uninstall the driver and reinstall it and start over, since I can't "resize HDTV desktop" with a monitor.

Another problem that I am having is that the computer will not shut down at all. I think it is related to the 2nd video card being added, since it started when I first installed it. When I go to shut down, the computer continually reboots itself and it has to be shut down by turning off the PSU.

Any advice you guys can give would be awesome.
