Information on ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo Mobo

I have been performing extensive research on a very good gaming PC within my budget of $800. I have chosen a combo deal from Newegg.com that will be the ASUS P5Q Pro Turbo mobo and the Intel Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz.

Is this a good combo?

The other question I have is can I use two Sata drives; hard drive and DVD/CD with this mobo?

Anything on whether or not this turbo board is any good would be great and any other hints or tips would be taken to heart.

Your motherboard has 7 SATA ports if I`m not mistaken. So you can use the 2 SATA drive, DVD/CD yes.

Yeah, I saw that after I posted and it wouldn't let me edit it for some reason. Anyone have any information about this other than about the SATA?
