Memory overflow

when i want repair my os (xp sp3) i receive this error and i canot continue any more: "memory overflow error"
any help will be appreciated.

Do you get an error number, when does this happen and what does it create ?
Go to Safe Mode and delete "pagefile.sys", re-boot.
I would do a memtest86 on boot just to be sure, let it run a full cycle.

thanks for your reply, i could solve my problem by change my CD, i think the problem was my CD.
