I am about to purchase a Intel Core i7-960 Bloomfield 3.2GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Desktop Processor as well as G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600.
I intend to overclock in the future and was wondering if the 1600 setup would be best, or if I should opt for the 2000?

Also, will my 3.2 core clock up to 4.0 without a voltage increase? and Will my 1600 RAM bottleneck if I do this?

I would opt for the 2000 Mem as it will allow for a higher OC to be achieved.....You wouldn't see a bottleneck with the 1600 mem...but the 2000 is for sure the better choice for OCing...make sure you get the right voltage memory as Intel rigs are really picky about the RAM voltage.
