Some Memory questions about timing, OC, 1300/1600...

Sup peeps...

I was just wondering what Timing means...and if its important to know when building a PC...

Another question: when the mobo says 1600(OC)/1333 in its specs, it means when I use a memory with 1600 speed, the memory controller is overclocked right? So I must have adequate cooling inside my casing when I decide to use 1600 speed?

Last question, in your opinion, if I want to squeeze every bit of performance from my i7 rig, should i use 1600 ram modules? or 1333's are sufficient enough?

Go with the 1600's They are meant to Overclock and you will get better performance. The clock speed will be another thing you want to look into.
